Free SSL:
Within 24 hours of your hosting account has been created and your domain nameservers pointing to our server our server will automatically install a free SSL on your account, it will also install on any subdomain, addon domain or alias/parked domain on your account.
SSL Certificates:
With increased fraud on the internet, many customers will not purchase items unless the site is secure, (https://)
Do you need an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) for your website? We can provide a RapidSSL secure cert for you, at the cost of $59 per year, which includes certificate, install and unique IP.
(there is a $30 install/Unique IP fee for SSL's not purchased through webhostingnz.com)
How to purchase a RapidSSL Certificate from us:
Requirements: Your web hosting account will need to be put onto a unique IP (this we do directly on the server.
The admin contacts at the Whois registry where your domain name is registered must be set to your information, (if we registered the domain name for you this will already have been done).
You will need to approve the certificate in the email the registry will send you. We can then install it.
